Absolutely. It is completely safe for adults and children to brush with our gel toothpaste. Adult supervision during brushing is recommended for smaller children.

• Ssiki (Peppermint Non-Foaming) Dental Gel contains aqua, sulfonylbismethane, edathamil, organic stevia root, peppermint, menthol, propylene glycol, FD&C Blue 1, natural gums and stabilizers.
• Ssiki (Mild Peppermint, Non-Foaming) contains aqua, sulfonylbismethane, edathamil, organic stevia root, peppermint, menthol, propylene glycol, natural gums and stabilizers.

To clarify, Ssiki Mild Peppermint contains the same ingredients as Ssiki (Peppermint, Non-Foaming) but does not contain color (no FD&C Blue 1). It is color-free and has a milder peppermint taste.

All three products do not contain any abrasives, antimicrobials, phthalates or parabens. Ssiki (Non- Foaming) does not contain any detergents. Ssiki (Foaming) contains a minimal amount of detergent that induces the foaming. All our ingredients are FDA GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe).

Yes, we avoid testing on animals at all costs. 

Baby Foam, also known as Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, is a mild foaming agent. It is a natural ingredient that is derived from coconut oil. Ssiki Wintergreen has a foaming ingredient. Ssiki Peppermint and Mild Peppermint are non-foaming. All three provide the same benefits for oral health.

Using Ssiki is super simple! See our recommended steps below:

1. Wet your brush before application and lightly rinse your mouth.
2. Apply a pea-sized amount of Ssiki on to your brush.
3. DO NOT wet the brush after applying Ssiki because the gel is water soluble. It will dissolve.
4. Brush your teeth with a soft to medium bristle brush at a 45 degree angle. Make sure you brush the back of your teeth and your tongue. People often forget this.
5. Brush your teeth with Ssiki for 2 minutes for each brushing. We recommend spending 30 seconds on each quadrant of your mouth.
6. After 2 minutes, rinse your mouth as normal. Lick the surface of your teeth, and enjoy the ultra clean feeling!

There are several ways to know Ssiki is working!

First, we recommend licking your teeth in the morning before brushing with Ssiki. You should feel what we like to call the fuzzies. After brushing with Ssiki, lick your teeth again, and the surface of your teeth should feel smooth and cleaner than ever before.

Second, take a whiff of your breath on your palm before brushing with Ssiki. Then, take another whiff after brushing with Ssiki. Your bad breath should be gone!

Third, when you brush with Ssiki in the night, you should notice your morning breath is significantly less as compared to when using traditional toothpaste.

Fourth, within 4 weeks of use twice daily, your gum bleeding and inflammation should be significantly reduced, if not completely gone.

As a note, for maximum effect, remember to brush the back of your teeth and your tongue! Most people forget to do this.
